2. What Bachat Baat is

Bachat Baat is a free financial literacy website built by Khayaban-e-Khwahish, a youth-led sustainability and community welfare initiative. It offers general educational information about budgeting, saving, insurance, loans, taxes, remittances, and related topics, along with simple tools like a salary-splitting calculator and an example chat.

The site does not provide banking, insurance, investment, or brokerage services. It does not open accounts, move money, or process payments of any kind.

3. Who can use this site

Bachat Baat is intended for general audiences seeking financial literacy information. It is not directed at children under 13. If you are under 18, please use the site with the awareness or involvement of a parent or guardian, particularly before acting on anything financial.

4. Educational purpose only, not professional advice

Everything on this site, including the chat, the salary calculator, and every topic page, is provided for general education only. It is not licensed financial, insurance, tax, legal, or investment advice, and nothing on the site should be treated as a personal recommendation to buy, sell, or avoid any specific product, account, or service.

Rates, rules, fees, and requirements mentioned on the site (for example, bank profit rates, tax rules, or filing deadlines) can change at any time and may not reflect the most current figures. Always confirm current details directly with the relevant bank, company, or government office, such as the State Bank of Pakistan, the Federal Board of Revenue, or the SECP, before making a decision.

5. No warranty

The Bachat Baat name, logo, design, and original written content belong to Khayaban-e-Khwahish. References to third-party banks, companies, or government bodies (such as their names or general facts about their services) are used for factual, educational purposes only. We do not claim any affiliation with, or endorsement from, those organizations unless explicitly stated.

9. Third-party links and services

The site may reference or link to external websites, such as bank websites, the FBR IRIS portal, or the State Bank of Pakistan. These Terms of Use, and any dispute arising from or related to your use of the Bachat Baat website, are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any such dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lahore, Pakistan.

14. Severability

If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, that part will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining terms will stay in full effect.

15. Entire agreement

These Terms of Use, together with our Privacy Policy, make up the entire agreement between you and Khayaban-e-Khwahish regarding your use of the Bachat Baat website, and replace any earlier understanding on the subject.
